Stop1 One Year

Stop1 One Year was our last event at Hellphone. For the event, we brought back all of the artists who had contributed to the party over the past year. It was also our most ambitious lighting and design project.

Over the year, the party started off with a few dozen people, eventually overfilling the club. It was the first time we had a line all night and showed that keeping with an event and deeply caring about it inevitably leads to its growth.

While we love Honey’s and the new venue gives the party a much higher ceiling to grow, Hellphone was special. It was a space where we could make mistakes, take risks, and grow the brand.

Bringing all of the artists back for one extended b2b2b was also a highlight of the night. The crowd was extremely mixed, with ages, sexualities, and scenes. It was refreshing in a city where nightlife is so commodified.
