Stop1 Pride

Stop1 Pride was the most ambitious party we threw as a collective. The party stretched 13 hours, had two stages, 12 artists, and onsite food. There were also countless roadblocks, such as melted DJ equipment from the previous party, a DJ with corrupted files, and general chaos.

However, it was our best party yet as a collective. We learned from Stop1 XL that having a dedicated door person alleviated so much stress for the team. Instead of trying to pack out the winery, we converted it into a chill-out room filled with beanbags, carpet, and food and were able to keep people within the club for several more hours than we otherwise would have.

The Stop1 crew is diverse, with gay, straight, and bisexual members. The lineup included many LGBTQ members to reflect Pride. The crowd was extremely mixed, with groups from all different backgrounds, leading to connections, friendships, and relationships that would have otherwise never happened.

We felt that Stop1 Pride was the truest Stop1 we have thrown so far.
